Modern cube ear weights are made from gold pvd on 316L stainless steel and are designed with a hinged construction, making them more of a lobe cuff with weight. These are lightweight at 11 grams each, just enough to weigh down your lobe. To wear these properly, a minimum size of 1/2" (12mm) or bigger is required.
